More than film theory or social media culture, I consider my expertise to be in narrative construction—not only the internal logic of a story being told (whether fiction or nonfiction), but the broader cultural movements that make a moment or story land with an audience. Helping people find strong thematic currents in their story that they themselves might not have noticed is extremely fun for me.
